About light
Light is kind of electromagnetic wave. It has two optical properties in theory which are a wave and a particle. These fields of study are called wave optics and quantum optics.
We are able to recognize objects with colors and forms.We distinguish between colors by action to reflect or absorb specific wavelengths (number of vibrations) and recognize forms by the intensity of light.
In other words, we canʼt distinguish anything with out light.

Wavelength of the light
Light which we can see is called visible ray. It is about 380~750nm wavelength.It shows the colors[ red, orange, yellow, green, blue, dark blue, purple ] from long wavelength.Light which has a longer wavelength than red is infrared radiation, shorter wavelength than purple is ultraviolet radiation.Sun or fluorescent light looks white, because all the colors are blending almost equally, but actuality all the colors exist.You can transmit and reflect the various colors by combining these colors.
